Say, "Bonjour!" to The Little Black Jacket!

Coco Chanel. That name alone is enough to make millions tremble in awe. Not only was Miss Coco Chanel an acclaimed fashion designer and idol internationally, but she still is today, marking her 138th birthday on January 10th. Although she unfortunately passed away in 1971, she continues to influence the fashion industry even today.
During her active years in her label known as 'Chanel', she created the idea of 'the little black dress' and publicized it, as it later made an appearance on millions of websites and shops across the globe. After digging deeper, her clothing brand, Chanel, has revealed 'The Little Black Jacket'.
Carine Roitfeld
Chanel collaborated with 113 celebrities who sported the admirable little black jacket in their own unique individual ways to endorse the name and make it a legend. Mission accomplished! Not only did they meet their goal (not to mention, go well beyond their goal!), but they also won over many, many fans of the jacket, myself included. To cut to the chase,  Yahoo! News puts it well in an article: "'Chanel officially presented Karl's latest tome: a weighty collaboration with Carine Roitfeld, which features 113 celebrities and fashion personalities wearing Chanel's iconic little black jacket in their own style, presented in a lavish coffee table book. It was launched with an exhibition in Tokyo's G-building in Aoyama.'"
Claudia Schiffer
As one anonymous source described the infamous little black jacket: "'The Little Black Jacket is made primarily from the basic material known as 'tweed'. The jacket is also created to act as a cardigan but can serve multiple purposes from being the highlight of your outfit to being a simple accessory. The silk lining is beset by a gold chain whilst the trim is braided.'"
Haider Ackerman
A few fashion icons among the celebrities to bear The Little Black Jacket with style are: Claudia Schiffer, Georgia May Jagger, Charlotte Casiraghi, Daphne Guinness, Linda Evangelista, Carine Roitfeld, and the lovely Alexa Chung. Although it may seem overbearingly feminine, several male celebs that sported the jacket with style include Kanye West, male model Haider Ackerman, and Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld. Each celebrity sported The Little Black Jacket in style and made it their own with accessories that emphasized the infamous jacket.
